Taylormade r5 type D or Type N. It’s last years technology and it only cost around $150. I bought it a couple of months ago and love it.

There really isn’t a best driver, it all depends on the player’s swing and power. I have tried all the big name clubs - Calloway, titleist, Nike, Mizuno, Taylor made - and I found that I play no better with them. I actually saw a driver I liked made by Northwestern; not a big name in golf by any means, but I liked it and consistantly hit the ball further from drivers to irons. So really, you can spend all the money you want, but you don’t need to donate a lung to have a better golf game. You have to try each one and see which one works to the style of your game.
I will say though, I did like the Taylor made r7 425, but not as much as my northwestern
