I’ve got a tournament tomorrow and I’m really worried. What should I do to avoid messing up shots due to nerves?

I don’t think there is any way to avoid the initial jitters. You have them, the other guy has them, everyone has them. I think once you’ve played 4 or 5 holes you’ll be fine and you’ll be talking about your puppy or your guitar playing, two things you enjoy, and that’s relaxing. It won’t be as grueling as you think.
