Thats quite a rant for someone who has no idea of what they are talking about. There are far too many more things that disturb nature than golf courses. Lets start by tearing down your house because it took trees to build it and tons of energy and pollutants to maintain it with your heating/cooling products.. Crush your car because of emissions. Lots more I could mention but hope you get the idea.

Wow! Never thought of that before. Have you ever been on a golf course? Don't think I'm a golfing guru or anything, but a golf course is truly Eco friendly.
There are trees albeit strategically placed and clustered. The 'green' is low maintenance for cost effectiveness because a golf course is a business and they, too, have to profit.
The watering is timed so players aren't soaked at play time. Although, it would be fun to watch if it slipped up now and then. ;)
Nature is semi-controlled. You can't regulate when or where a bird is going to relieve them self.
Personally, I am offended that I have to know someone that knows someone to be considered for membership and can only enjoy the course from the outside of the fence.

Guess you will also have to get rid of all the farms. They clear land in order to produce food, and use pesticides to protect the crop. Also, kill all the cows and pigs that produce methane gas that is harmful to the ozone. Then destroy all the dams that control the rivers and also produce electric power. then close down all the oil and gas rigs to prevent spills. Stop all mining activities, and wood production. Then houses cant be built. Now you have no food, no power, and no housing, but you have nature.

I have Tacki-Mac grips on my clubs. No need for gloves with that. They stick to your hands. :)

then what will I do on a sunday afternoon.
I play golf and yesterday had to wait on the 10th fairway for 2 does and fawns to cross before I made my second shot.
They are working with Nature and using chemicals that are planet safe and animal safe. You really need to do your homework before spurting off about golf courses

I replace my glove when it gets a hole.

Here's a cheap (price - not quality) glove
=&shopping=&f=g

$11.95 for two + $2 shipping and handling

Master Grip. Other stuff too. I love their Pima Cotton shirts.

On a medium length Par 3, get someone to be on the Tee throughout and charge a sum of money per player to hit the green, if they hit the green they win a prize, that way, the cash pays for the prizes (or raises money) and people have a bit of fun.

or

Get the pro out (if you can!), and people can pay to challenge the Pro to get closer to the pin thean he/she can and if they do they win a prize
